ABOUT ME

My Style

As a therapist I am compassionate, respectful, authentic, active, and engaging. My approach is very warm. I aim to create an atmosphere of safety to support your opening and exploring; a soft place to land, so to speak. I stimulate and challenge you when I sense you are ripe for it. My empathic abilities are strong and I have a way of really getting inside of your experience so that I might best understand what life is like in your shoes. I draw on what happens in your body and your imagination as we work, and I do not check my sense of humor at the door. My passion for and belief in this work are unmistakable, as is my unwavering faith in the human spirit's ability to heal and evolve. While my work is grounded in theory and clinical training, it is also infused with intuition and a wealth of personal experience
